Freek specializes in improving the design of existing code and has extensive experience is various industries. He is an advocate for modern software engineering techniques such as Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration, and he is very knowledgeable in Agile software development (XP, SCRUM), Domain Driven Design and Lean Software Development.
He was one of the founders of Devnology (now defunct) and in his spare time he helped organising events such as Joy of Coding.
